Centre for Spatially Intergrated Digital
Humanities (CSIDH)


The Centre for Spatially Integrated Digital Humanities (CSIDH) is a research centre under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities that focuses on integrating spatial (geographical) analysis with digital humanities to explore and address various societal issues.

CSIDH leverages geospatial technologies and digital tools to analyze complex social phenomena.

Some of the current and completed research projects conducted by CSIDH include:

  • Spatial Distribution and Pattern of Drug Addiction and Crime: A Case Study in Kuching and Penang
  • Spatio-temporal Modelling for Drug Abuse and Property Crimes in Kuala Lumpur (2015–2020)
  • Land Administration and GIS: A Framework for Securing Land Tenure Property Rights (LTPR) in Water Settlement Areas
